He didn’t even bother trying to get up. He decided then and there he’d lost for the last time.
Tuscany, Interrupted
There would be no meandering through vineyards, no starlight over Siena, no view of Florence from the dusty hills of Fiesole.
Her holiday in Italy was unexpectedly cancelled – she is needed at home.
One by one, her careful plans are tossed into the basket of unrealized dreams.
Maybe some day.
