in a bed of grass - A prose poem in exactly 50 words
I love the line, "I lie in a grassy bed and call forth a daydream." Beautiful prose Sharron.
Yeah.... not happening.
I wear knee high socks even at 100 degrees. I know that grass is full of bitey bugs. No grass bed for me. White socks ... so I can pick them off before I go inside. I do love to watch the oceans of grass and their seed stalks wave in the wind. I found a patch with red stalks and seeds, and scattered them in the meadow. Beautiful. SO many kinds. Green, GOLD, red. Waist high and shoulder high. Makes me happy.
. . .minding drowsy cows. That's great!
So peaceful, and warm!
Reminds me of Lady Chatterley...
Love the 'moo-ed' you set. 😁
Sharron, this is absolutely beautiful! 😍
Very often I feel I'm similalrly naked but not on my own volition. Life's beating me up daily to the point of morose exhaustion....
Lovely, Sharron. Just lovely.
