It was so much a part of her, to always demonstrate her love for her children and grandchildren, with generous heart, and a gentle hand. She always made me feel loved, and I am so grateful that my children have these memories, too. Although she can't be here now, she blessed us with these memories of our lives with her.
That's beautiful, Sharron. Memories that make life worth living.
Thanks, Parker. I am sure you, too, have many such brief flashes of memory that just pop up for no reason at all. Fleeting, but vivid.
A poignant snapshot, happy and sad at the same time. I feel this way when I look at old pictures of my sons. Human emotions are so complicated.
Yes! Those old photos. Sometimes they feel like someone else’s life now…
Short, sweet, sad and beautiful!
Thank you, Yael.
Touching tribute to a loving mother. She's fortunate to have those memories.
I am sure we all have these brief flashes of childhood memory. They come on us from out of nowhere, it seems, even many decades later..
Sad for certain but what a wonderful gift.
She was definitely my gift.
Awwwwww! 💚💚💚
Thank you, Jack. Short, but to me the memory is vivid.
That'll stab yer heart.
Just a little image - nothing more, from when I was about five. Thanks, Kate. I DO hope you are feeling much better now. Send details.
I cherish early memories.
Can't buy them or replace them.
Oh yes, me too. Some times they come as very brief, but powerful, images. I hope you write about them as well, John.
So touching and heartfelt!
Tiny but meaningful flashes of memory. I am sure you have them all the time, too.
It was so much a part of her, to always demonstrate her love for her children and grandchildren, with generous heart, and a gentle hand. You and I share a lot of the same memories and feelings, Sharon.🩷
Beautiful and sad. Memories are all we have, really, and losing them, especially the good ones, is so tragic.
Thank you, Sue. These little remembered moments pop into my head unexpectedly. Just flashes of place and feelings.
Wonderful stuff. You're definitely right - it beats the daily news.
Oh! Thank you, Steve. We can all use a little respite, I think.
Love those wash cloths over the eyes to keep out the soap. Yes I resonate and remember 🎁
I think we all have these fleeting memories. They pop into my head and then they are gone…. brief, but powerful.
Parted hair and braided. Still locks of golden thoughts tied with a bow.
