The Kiss
a short prose poem to spark a hidden memory ...
Before we kiss each other, there is that exquisite hesitation, faces lightly touching, the sudden nearness of our mouths, the warm and intimate breath.
Those few seconds of anticipation, will happen only once for you and me, and they are too rare to be wasted.
Our senses enkindle, but still we hold back, delaying the moment until a certain urgency forces us to surrender.
I sure miss those kisses.
