Hunger
He orders the largest, most expensive pizza, with everything on it. Except anchovies. He brings home pricey Belgian beer. And why the hell not?
He hates his lifeless job. He’s lost his girlfriend. He knows he is feeding the wrong hunger, but you can only do what you can do.
Souvenir
The lace gown still hangs in the closet, a bewildering, unwelcome reminder.
Never worn, it is now just evidence of a promise that mysteriously evaporated into rarefied air. At the last minute, the plan simply fell apart.
Maybe someday she will find courage and give it another try. Maybe. Someday.
Thank you Alexander Ipfelkofer for permission to use your fine photo.

You are doing, writing, feeling, and sharing: doing so much to appease hungers. Some may not be the right kind, but some may be.
Please continue. Hungers for truth and belief in doing what you can
Those feed all of us.
Thank you for skipping the anchovies!
Two hearts battling pain. Well done.
