Can't hurt, right? Thank you, Scott. I eagerly await the next philanthropic road adventure.

It is coming, it is taking me MUCH longer that I thought it would for this stuff. Maybe over time it will get easier.

Aww.... just wait until it strikes you. I woke up at 3 this morning thinking of race tracks and casinos - neither of which I have been to. Wrote it all down and went back to bed. Damn. Now I have to research it...

Skiptoom Alou!

As a part-time genius and onetime baseball fan, I remember the Alou brothers very well. Felipe and Matty both played for my Yankees in the early 70's.

Cute, funny story Sharron.

Just something I remembered. True story... mostly. Thanks, Jim. I got some ideas for the two women on the loose involving horse racing and skinny dipping. I can't wait to see what happens... ( I sure do know how to entertain myself. )

Aha! I was a big baseball fan in the 90s and remembered “Moises Alou” right away - couldn’t think of the other two!

Oops, just did some quick research...Moises was Felipe’s son! 😅

That's right. I remember Moises too. The Dominicans are like a baseball factory. Such great talent and discipline.

Yes, two generations of Alous! And of course, as Carl said, don't forget cousin Babbalú!

Pretty dang funny!

Delightful! I am a baseball fan, but only remembered Matte - had to look up the other two.

Ha! Loved picturing Carl's gears working on that one. And all for a laugh. My kind of guy. 😊

You never know what is going on in some people's head, do you? Thanks for giving it a few minutes, Meg. ( And congratulations on your win!)

Hahaha! He is one witty guy. Had me busting up over here! 🤣

Growing up I was a huge baseball fan. I remember Moises Alou because he was a heck of a player. I don’t remember the other two. Maybe they were older than Moises?

Thank you for the laugh. 😄

And...it looks like I went 0/3 and struck out! 🤣

Moises Alou was Felipe’s son! Now that is one talented family.

Yes, I think that Matty, Felipe and Jesús were big in the 1970s(?) and Moises was the next generation.

Glad you liked it! One would think I spent a lot of time writing goofy stuff. And they would be right. Much to the detriment of my housekeeping... Thanks for reading my foolishness, Susan.

You're on a Roll, and I'm rolling over&laughing ... heartily ... this and Smartest Man. You know how I love Characters, real-life and fiction, and the weirder the crazier the more delightful the better. And, I love your appraisals of them AND YourSelf, especially your loyalty to your mother's presence, no matter that she's dead with no hereafter, as far as You know.... Thank You for these stories, the laughter, Weirdo Buddie!
