Thanks for the commiseration, Jim. The fellow who collided with the Ranchero did not say one word to my boy - didn't even approach him. He just stood at a distance and waited for the Highway Patrol... What is wrong with people?
Aw, well, my boy will always have a project. He loves the challenge and the work of restoring old thing, but doesn't get particularly attached to the objects themselves. He is just that kind of guy.
😥😩 What's even more humiliating is to be dragged down the road behind a vehicle of lesser glory like a slave taken in war. All the adventures, the romances, the, dare I say, loads of yard waste taken to the dump, rolled into a lifetime of memories. Que lastima!
Poor ℰ𝓁 𝒥ℯ𝒻ℯ! He had 𝙖 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨. And 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣! Some people say he was 𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙙. Alas…. in the end he was 𝙗𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙛𝙛. Sorry about that, Sharron! I gave in to my silly nature. Truly sorry about that old car…❣️Especially because my nephew put so much work into it!! This was a great tribute!!
It’s amazing how we get attached to our old drives. I did, anyway. When the time came to part, I was asked whether I wanted a moment. I thought it was totally appropriate.!
Pobrecito guapo. Lamento verte partir. (((
Eso, si. Es una lástima, pero mi hijo aceptó el accidente filosoficamente!
Buen chico, útil y decorativo tambien.
You talking about my son.... or the car? ha ha ha
Su nino, por supesto.
👍🏻
Oh no! I am literally upset over this. Happy that no one was hurt but oh man that sucks.

Now, that is such a shame. It's just not right.

I know, right??! ¡Es un desmadre total! ¡Qué indigno!
How sad. The Ranchero was such a beauty.
A lovely old thing. But there will be others. In this world, there is always something / someone that needs rescuing.

Rats! I should have called on the family poet to write the obituary!! Classic Gopher Farm style! I love you, kid.

Absolutely! Understood.
So sad to see that vehicle towed away. How come it causes me to imagine myself being towed away at the end of my life.:)
urrggh. What an image.. At our age we begin to think weird stuff like that. I'd like my body to be in a small skiff in flames out in the bay.
