Peter is very bold -- fearless, when it comes to paper or beetles. When it comes to opossums, however, he makes himself scarce...

Isn't it great how cats can find fun in the simplest things. A lesson for us all! Go Peter!

His biggest entertainment is a cast off shoe string tied to a chair rung. He never tires of the battle! As for you and me... give us a pencil and a piece of paper and we are entertained. Right?

He is fierce and courageous! Except for when it comes to raccoons and the garbage truck. Then it is straight under the sofa.

I’ve never met a raccoon, but I don’t blame Peter for being wary of the garbage truck!

Our cat prefers little stuffed toy mice. And leaves the hallway carpet waded up in a pile when he is through. He would ignore a real mouse, though.

Real mice take a bit more effort. However those little skulls are satisfyingly crunchy. So I gather... Thanks for reading 🍁Leaves, Mark!

He prides himself on his hunting prowess and on his ability to attain anything he desires from his housemates. He has taught them well.

Our cat (a lady cat named Asia) doesn't really play with her toys too much anymore (she's eighteen now).

But a few years ago, she both caught and ate a mouse that was loose in our apartment.

So she is quite the huntress.

Ferocity is encoded in their DNA since the prehistoric Smilodon Fatalis. They can't help it, poor things. I wonder what MY / YOUR excuse is...?

Cats believe that EVERYTHING is put there entirely for their amusement, don't they? Shoestring, leaf, rubber band, button , radish - they are all toys. What a great world they live in.
