A light fantastic knead of chocolate chip cookies with a double dip of Zorka prying seen in closed quarters. A gift from the holiday hotel. Motor oil bath massage received. Good muscular control. Glad you could walk on your own.

Yes, that Zorka incident. Hard to forget. Unfortunately. Thanks for having a look, Richard.

Yes, I understand )) my rocking chair is my favorite perch for making lace. Not so static as a kitchen chair... can lean back and consider the optional work. No crick in the neck either. ))) Everybody should have one. Good desk chairs do this too, so different form but same delight. ))

I made it to Vienna but not Budapest. Wish I had. Like many cities, get away from the tourist areas and the real city emerges.

I remember Zorka - she and Nurse Rached and the gal in the movie Misery seem cut from the same cloth. : )

Vienna. Beautiful. She is like a Grand Old Lady. Formal and Aristocratic. At least that was my first impression. ( Unlike Munich, which is just plain fun.) I didn't stay long enough to be sure. And yes - good analogy, Zorka and Ratchet! All they lacked was a whip!

After reading another Substacker's description of his trip to Budapest, yours is so much more realistic, gritty, and magnificent all at the same time.

As for Zorka, OY! Humility and detachment indeed.

A sad situation. Something similar exists in Ciudad Juarez, plus they have the tragedy of the warring drug cartels.
