For some reason that photo really moved me.

Gosh. That's sad. What to do?

This will be me when I'm old.

Sharron Bassano's avatar

Let's hope we have someone to care for us.

Kristi Keller 🇨🇦's avatar

I don't think I will. I lost my only child so by the time I'm old and senile, I'll be ready to ride that train all the way!

Sharron Bassano's avatar

Well, thank heaven you still have time to plan ahead, Kristi. Read Janice Walton - she has so many helpful planning ideas for single older women in the Aging Well Newsletter.

We are Babushka. Strong like Ox ! We walk slow but we know stuff ))) The hard part is making them sit long enough to cram what we know into Their heads. Most of the world is NOT new and different from what we know. The younger ones shouldn't have to invent the wheel. We have extras. Enjoy the knowing. Make beauty. "Write it down Wolfie" Yer doin that so ok. ))))

Sharron Sharron Sharron. How do you do this? You make it seem so easy to write these 50-word stories. May I live in your brain for a few days? Love this!

Sharron Bassano's avatar

Oh no.... you definitely wouldn't want to mess around in THIS brain... but Hooray! Glad it spoke to you in some way.

Love this one, Sharron. You're getting very good at providing a satisfying twist at the end of these tiny tales.

Sharron Bassano's avatar

Thank you, Meg. Certain photos cannot be ignored. You know how it is.

Inspiring work, Sharron. Thank you for this! (And what a beautiful photo!)

Sharron Bassano's avatar

Thanks, Justin. I loved that photo and imagined right away an eldery woman thinking that streetcar would take her home.
