That's exactly why I don't travel. (flatlander) Noodles ok. Fish.... nope, not at all. I'm thinking the 20th century wars had a lot to do with menus. We are more than spoiled.

Hmmmmm... Sardinia's food is not for the faint-hearted. Carries distinct similar elements of Greek traditional dishes, which I usually avoid despite my origins... Having said that, it takes courage for non-southern Europeans to tackle such local menus. Greece is a bit more "advanced" in offering mainstream dishes even in remote tourist destinations. I was surprised when I first set foot on Patmos, the Holy Island in the Aegean, population approximately 1100, to discover there were TWO pizza restaurants! Imagine....

I loved this, Sharron - I'd say it's mouth-watering... but that's not really an expression which quite fits the bill...! 🤣 I giggled my way through the entire menu!
