I saw her standing along the road the other night, next her car, a chartreuse ‘82 Ford Escort with a flat tire, in the rain and I didn’t even think of stopping to help. Now who’s cold?
Oh I had read it in suspense, holding on to such hope that she would at the end turn out to be a really nice, warm person under a self-protective shell, and that the one brave guy would come back to the bar the next night, after being with her, happy and beaming. 😱😅
She reminds me somewhat of a modern Medusa, who was ugly and turned people to stone with one glance, whereas this woman shrivels stones, and is beautiful (on the outside!😅)
