Beautiful. Makes me see my little Winnie's exuberant joy in a brighter light. May I never discount that degree of love.

A golden retriever with a stick waiting to play in the sun with a mate that tosses and turns in her sleep while he wanders around, waiting for her to come pat the head, good dog.

I love how you captured the essence of what we mean to our dogs; our non-judging companions, our givers of unconditional love.

Thank you, Wade. I have never had a dog, but I have been friends with a few of them. It seems what you say is true.

YOU have a waggle dog - maybe two of them? I have forgotten their names...

You are correct: Molly and the (locally) world famous Quinn.

I agree with you. I have never owned a dog, but have always been drawn most to the sweet-natured, gentle labs and retrievers. My idea of the perfect canine.

Cats... I think they may love us in a different way, but can be so very sweet. Have you met Kermit the cat? He has several videos - one of him purring for 16 minutes. Very soothing.
