I like the direction this is heading. Life here seems simple and gentle. The journal gives us some insight into Kathoc's struggles to learn a new language and culture as well as some snippets of his former life. I really like this format. Such a nice world you've created. I'll be interested in how Kathoc bridges the culture gap in his relationship with Iz-La without creating a real conflict. And what will they find in the "place of books?" Keep it going Sharron!

I foresee maybe two more episodes to bring this full circle. I thank you for taking time to consider and comment on the first draft. It is so darned helpful when I am feeling less than confident. Your suggestions always make so much sense to me, Jim!

Today was my first exposure to Kathoc. Where have I been?

I'm hooked! And...very curious to see what happens as Kathoc's memory continues to return.

Wow! Thanks Heather. It started as just a one- page story. Done! But then he kept coming back to haunt my dreams. Now I don't know when it will end. I hope you find 15 minutes to read it from the beginning.

Oh yes, I already have read it....cover to cover, so to speak. That's what hooked me! I am now your Sci-Fi groupie.

Why can't I have dreams like that.....mine are more about forgetting to water the plants in the front pots.

ha ha ha! I am old, but I still have a rather rich fantasy life. One that exceeds my ability to write about it. Hah

Another excellent installment, Sharron! If this was a book being sold on a shelf somewhere, I’d buy it without hesitation. The flow of the story really works, and it is all being pieced together seamlessly. Can’t wait to read the next installment!

It'll come to you. 😊 Such a brilliant premise. And I'm seriously crushing on Kathoc right now. 😂

I know, right? Me, too, and I am old enough to be his...er..grandmother. The power of a photo removes all boundaries.

Such a good story! Absence, perhaps abstinence, makes the heart grow fonder??

Well, yes, I have found that to be true. Thanks for reading this series, James.
