Thanks, Linda, for the vote of confidence. I have only written two sci-fi pieces. But as our world becomes more and more insane, more and more tweaked ideas are coming to me... I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing...
These characters are so interesting to me. I loved their interactions and how you show them overcoming the language barriers to reach some level of understanding. By the end of this piece I found myself wanting more. Great job, Sharron! A favorite of mine for sure.
Your comments are always so welcome, Justin. I hope there is more, I want to write more about Kathoc Bose and Fahlo, but you know how it is...sometimes it comes, sometimes it don't.
Thank you, Ron. When you don't know each others' languages, you have to reduce everything down to simple words, short sentences, hand gestures, pictures. A lifelong fascination for me! Thanks for hanging out at 🍁Leaves, my friend.
Unusual story, here, Sharron! A mystery, for sure, with excellent description.

Good start. There's more to come, right? Some explanations to be made. ))
Well... I, myself, would love to know who and where they are and how and why Kathoc ended up there... but so far it has not been revealed to me.

So true!
Sketches of lost people, maybe found.
Yes. It is one of my favorite themes. That, and women "rescuing" men.
Thank you Sharron for this one. I like the terse sentences. I feel like it speaks to our vulnerability. A hopeful piece; now back to Kathoc Bose 2!
