Yes.... I would like to see what the "women-place" looks like. Let me get this straight: Men bring food and fix things. A woman chooses any man she wants. And he would be gone in the morning? Sounds like heaven to me. It would also be interesting to see what our earth-man would make of these "Amazon" women.
Okay, then. Kick off your shoes, Ron. Take off all your inhibiting clothing, I will bring you a long robe and some of that spiced drink (!) and you can join them on the beach. They might even take you to the women-place. I don't know... think your heart could take it?
This world and its customs are both very intriguing to me. I love these characters and the way they learn about each other’s way of life. An excellent story all around, Sharron!
Just playing around, Rebecca. I am not keen on alien encounters, per se, but I do love language and attempts at communication. Thanks for wading into the weird landscape with me.
I can't wait to visit the women place. Do they live a similar primitive life or are they more advanced? Then again, what does that mean? Technical? Artistic? Politically complex? Communal or a land of solitaries? Oooo. Sharron!!!!
Thank you, Sue. I am glad you are enjoying Kathoc Bose! His seven chapters are found in the archive in the sci-fi section at the top. Also, each chapter has a link to previous and next chapters.at the bottom of the page.
I like the attempts at understanding each others language and the overall eeriness of the situation.
Very inventive and unusual. Please don't make us wait for two more turns of the moon to find out what happens next! Thanks Sharron.

Sharron, the content is deep. I like the 'this is why we do what we do'. The curious, open conversations. I could hang out with these two awhile.

That's too funny! Be like when I abruptly woke up in 'Great Mistakes' boot camp; this was not in the brochure!
ha ha ha ha ha

Grist for the mill... thank you, Justin. Experimenting here. Not sure it is my forte.
Will there be a part 3???
I just sort of have to wait to see if they speak to me. You know how it is. Thanks.
lots of things in common
Intriguing, Sharron!

It was such a fun read - I don't read much sci-fi, so it was nice to dive in!
Hi Sharron, I am looking forward to reading a Part 3 - if and when it arrives.
