Rescued Bridge Cat is doing fine. Less hack/snort/cough. Washed fur. Eating well. Litter box proof. So that's good ))). Still doing the sterilization clothes change between him and Hansel. Can't get Hansel sick with this on top of his other stuff. Vet returning soon so continue maintenance meds for him. Lots of questions on the list. Since I can't have them in the same space yet, litter from H sits in bag on porch so it won't be enemy when he comes in. Will do same for H when B is well. Familiar smells are a good thing when getting two together without fights. Crossing fingers.
Hi, What a beautifully written story - the tenderness is apparent. I can see a possibility for an alliance. Guess I will have to wait and see what, if anything, comes next.
I have been wracking my brain trying to remember the film or book where a man complained of being infested with pixies, he kept brushing them off his coat. You remember anything like that?
Beautiful, Sharron. I like the way you've portrayed the man as responsible, caring and tender. Such a sad ending for the mother. I'll be watching for part 2.
Wow, Sharron! Where do these stories come from? You have so many mysteries in your head, and I love them all! The endings are brilliant. As the reader, my mind keeps going...so many possibilities!
I just now completed part 2 for Wednesday. I made myself cry! Crazy how I entertain myself! I don’t need netflix or prime - I have so many movies inside my head. ha ha ha
Thanks, Justin. I just finished Part 2 for Wednesday. It is such a thrilling phenomenon to me when three days pass and I have no idea of how of proceed, then suddenly, boom! There it is, just waiting to be jotted down.
ARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!! The ending has really got me - goodness me, such a haunting, beautiful, agonising story, dear Sharron. Gosh.
Stunning photographs. We visited both Uists and Benbecula when Jim was shooting his book about meadow - the machair in bloom is absolutely breathtaking. x
A very interesting start, abrupt end…. Beautiful video….
Thank you, Wade. I hope I can figure out what comes next... ( any ideas? )
REscuers everywhere. ))))
Speaking of. which, email me - how's that cat rescue coming along?

Keep me posted. Sounds like a lot of work. A labor of love for little furry ones.
The tone of your writing is as tender and sweet as an infant. Killer last line, Sharron.
Thank you, Ken. I do hope I can follow up. I can see maybe an alliance forming between Ian and the foundling? Maybe?

Thank you, Janice!
Touching and tempting. I want to give the baby to Ian.
Knowing nothing but feeling everything. He could do as well as anyone.
Thank you, Jill. I am not sure yet how this story will end...
Do stories ever end?
Not even with death, apparently. My mother's story will live as long as I do, I know that.
Write on!
"But she is not sleeping." When I tell you this really pulled at my heartstrings, 😔😔😔 it did.
Oh, thank you so much for saying that, trEL! I am glad it touched you in some way.
You're most welcome!
The baby is safe now. So sad the mother had to die. Hopefully, we will hear more about the little one.
Thank you, Kathleen. I am working on it...
Strange, indeed, coming across two beings among the grasses and flowers. Hmm? A fine puzzle you have posited upon us, Sharron.
It IS a puzzle. I hope I can find the pieces. What have I got myself into now?
I can't wait for Part 2. So many ways this story can go.
Thanks, Sue. I wish I knew where this story was going. I think tales of faeries may be involved?
I do believe in faeries. I hear them running around in my house, and now and then, things go missing that are never found.

Oh my goodness, no I don't remember a film with that, but could it have been one of the characters in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? I have no clue.
I’ll let you know if I find it.

Um... Yes, me too. ( You know how it is sometimes. I am waiting for it, as well.)
The sea gulls fly
Shore replies waves goodbye. Broken hearts 💔 torn apart mend the ways with love.
Thank you, Richard!
You are so talented, Sharron. In one short sentence you tell the whole sad story.
Something about this man that I like... a touch of tenderness, maybe.

The best ones, Sharron!
What a tender and moving tale, Sharron. Beautifully told!

It really is an incredible feeling, isn’t it? I’m excited to hear the story revealed itself to you! So fun—can’t wait for the next installment!
