Not a bad thing. We could all use a little more hyperfixation, but without the lack of self-control. Of course, then, it wouldn't be hyperfixation, would it?

Loved that show for many seasons but have not seen it for the last three years.

That was a great dance -i wonder if they called it “jazz” or “interpretive”.

It was called contemporary, choreographed by Mia Michaels, season 5. You can see the practice session, the dance and the commentary here, Kim. The audience went wild.
