Nature Show
The dawning light slowly turns the massive land-form into flames of copper and gold.
“Lord Almighty,” she whispers. Tears run down her wrinkled cheeks as she stands in silent awe of the spectacle opening before her.
At the age of 80, she sees the Grand Canyon for the first time.
In my twenties I was watching from the north rim seeing the sun rise. A clear vision of awe with more than fifty words expressed. Hard to convey beauty.
