Such a deal! A 3 bedroom, 1 bath, with huge living room, giant kitchen, on about an acre, backed up to an open field, walking distance to beach. $10, 000, IF it was bought in 1954. It held two adults, five children, a dog, chinchillas, a bird and so much fun, the walls stretched to their limit! They don’t make ‘em like that anymore. 🫤 They are much more like the fixer-upper in your story.
Hah! Such memories. Oh I think they do make them like that. But no one can afford them here on the coast. However, if one is willing to relocate to the central valley, still very affordable. ( I would prefer the empty loft...)
Spacious ! LIGHT ! High ceilings ! All renovations at your will. No tear-out. Walk to the beach ))) Best of indoor living ))))
No demolition! Right you are! With your talent at the "spin", you could be a hell of a listing writer!
Much like writing ads for rent.... MUST be encouraging but honest so there's no surprizes when they come for lookies.
as good a piece of real estate as any?
If it is only two miles from the beach? Hell, yes.
A fixer-upper loft near the ocean in Santa Cruz for 1.7 mil? That's a bargain. I'm interested, Sharron!
Oh, rats! It sold the first day it was listed...
Well, dang. I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. Maybe another will come along, always liked Santa Cruz.
Word on the street is that it sold already! 😆
Yeah. Twenty-seven offers. Sold for 1.9M.
Too true….
Dang! I overslept and missed-out!
Shoot! We could have been neighbors!
🤣 AND it has a skylight.
Amenities galore...

I think you’re right, Sharron. If one could stand the heat (a month of temps over 100 degrees), they are affordable.
Those valley summers are not for the faint of heart.
That’s a lot of paid subscriptions 😎
Yeah.... I think I would need ... ahem...a different funding source...
Erosion and tidal wave protection sold separately. Ocean view on fog less days. Hurry priced to sell.
Ha ha ha! Going, going ... gone! Thanks Richbee. Welcome to Leaves!
