lovin it .. ‘the pawn shop’ is well known to me.. as well as a ‘cultural reality’ .. Be glad to send you a pic - time stamped today of a current Pawn Ticket .. residing in my wallet - recently paid off the Interest & renewed ‘the loan’ - Have been a customer of McTamney’s in Toronto over 50 years .. At one point utilized them as ‘Secure Storage’ for my firearms - the Interest Rate was less than Secure Storage & the ‘Loan’ helped fund my evolution as freelance photographer.
I know, Heather. I am releasing them slowly, to let off the pressure in my little gray cells... Thanks for reading this foolishness! I hope it at least delayed your getting to your Saturday chores. And here it is happy hour already!
Not very bright, that's for sure. He doesn't have much of a future I would imagine. Thanks for reading my stories, Justin. BTW I just gathered and printed out just my 50-word stories. Fifty-six of them. Not sure what to do with them now... but I feel like I have done a LOT of work in two years. Thanks to substack for the platform!
That’s amazing, Sharron! Wow, you’ve written a ton of them. It’s rewarding to see them all together in one space/document, isn’t it? Have you considered self-publishing your fifties or any of your fiction? You know I’d be first in line to order a copy of your book.
Whew! As I neared the end I worried you wouldn't reveal whether or not the narrator got back her guitar. I was completely engaged and invested in this terrific story! Though now I'm wondering how much haggling went on, what the narrator ended up paying, whether that rat Billy Ray got his ass thrown into jail, etc. Thank you, Sharron!
There's a bunch of odd folks in your brain. Let 'em out or they'll start a riot.

.. haha.. gots no idea what stirs in ms Bassano’s ‘creative juices’ .. 🦎🏴☠️
I just have to keep some of it buried... I myself, don't even want to be exposed to it.
😜
You've noticed that too - LOL
Hey!
I am scribbling as fast as I can, Kate, dear. But they only allow me to use crayons in here, so it is a little slow going
😜😜😜

Golly! Whatever works, Timber!
Billy Ray thought stealing her guitar "was a good idea at the time." Really nice, Sharron! The picture is of the Pawn Stars store sign. : )
Justice will be served. (I hope)
Good thing she didn’t get that tuning peg fixed. That helped ‘crack’ the case!
You've got some wicked folks in that brain of yours, Sharron!

Colorful prose with crayons ))) These need BIG paper so there's room for big personalities.

Hah! Right you are, my friend!
Sometimes we have to do our own detective work . .
And goodness knows , you are a master at that!
Stealing guitars should be a capital offense! 🤣 It’s like stealing a wizard’s magic wand. Indefensible.
Right on! Or like stealing a chef's knives. The little weasels!
What a great story. I was relieved when she found the guitar. Hopefully justice will be served…that neighbor of hers has it coming!

Thanks, Justin. I may write to you about this.
