Hansel mewing quietly out the door perch. I didn't see anyone. Squirrels in the oak but not even the neighborhood Tiger. Not so sure its a good idea to let them scuffle. Maybe they'd play, maybe they'd war and there'd be vet bills. Maybe he is missing his sister Gretl or buddy KittyBoy who were planted in the garden last winter. He's the last of 9 of the last herd. 18 planted in the lilies and strawberrys over 30 years. He can see the patch from the porch. Its raining again today, so forays will be super short. Cat spirits cross the rainbow bridge with no delay. Just memories remain.
Cat spirits and memories... A nice title for a little story, Kate. I am glad these Ray stories resonate with you, my friend. I hope you are well and enjoying the spring bloom!
Raymond is adorable. He reminds me of my daughter who is a natural at games. I'd show her how to play and after the first round or two, she'd beat me every time. It didn't matter what the game. Maybe Dennis should come up with a game of who can find the most loose change and have Raymond earn his keep. These stories are so comfy and you always have photos to match. Thanks, Sharron.
Those little skittery blue things are just irresistible! Ray is so sneaky about rubber bands - especially the fat blue ones around the broccoli bunch. Cats!
This is so funny! “Heat is his god” What a wonderful piece to wake up and read with my own coffee.
Ray has a lot of fans. He is a funny boy.
That cat is the smartest ever! What a good writer Dennis is. He should be proud!
Raymond is definitely smart, but Dennis is not a writer. Ray lives with my son, but I tell all the Ray stories. ha ha ha
Oooh my! (That Oooh is a clue- a series of buttons?)
What a talent Ray/Dennis/Sharron shares!
The games are in full heat.
A very devious cat, and Dennis' primary source of entertainment. He always fills me in on what Ray is up to- I get a brief cat report every morning.
Such entertainment has many lives~
LOL. Raymond is going to win because he doesn't think, he just does. Keeps us humans on our toes. I also understand his love for heat.
🩷 Thanks, Ron! And Raymond says, "Meow, brother!"
YAY Raymond ))) He's my kind of cat )))

Raymond counts coup. A native cat that can keep score. What a perfect pet. Can he play hockey?
No hockey. Santa Cruz born and bred, so, surfing, yes!
Delightful - Raymond is one of my favorites.
Raymond sends a "Meow" to your two felines, Bailey and, and, darn it. I forget the other one's name!
The other one is Bella, and they send their regards to you and Raymond.
Raymond is really keeping Dennis on his toes. Devious but cute.
Ray is in cat paradise now because both Dennis and Mary have retired and there is a warm lap for him at any hour of the day…
That is one wily animal there. Those Norweedgies are smart and love the devilment of yanking their staff's chains. Carry on!
Ray es el Rey de la casa.
Si, y a tiempo, el Rey dolor ... poquito.
Hah!
Ah yes…nothing to do all day but torment Dennis! Love this story of stealth, Sharron!!
They are crazy about that cat. You know how it is.
I do!
Great story Sharron!
Thanks for reading over here, Tim. Raymond is a silly boy, but he has a lot of fans. They call themselves the Raybots.
Face it! Denis lost this one. ! Good luck with the new game!
Raymond he is pretty smart. And loads of entertainment.

I will definitely suggest the Loose Change game. Sounds like a perfect match.
Love this! .... and a Hotbox! We haven't tried one and now we must.
At our house it's a blue plastic ring, from under the cap to a milk jug. It's there, then gone again
