That's people for ya. Hard to tell the lies from the truth sometimes. Shift the world or a part of it and you have to decide for yourself. Thanks for these little gems you tuck in our heads. Always a smile in them. )))
Me, too. I have little faith in our species. We are capable of conceiving the glorious cathedral of Notre Dame , but built it on the backs of slaves. Sorry for my cynicism.
I have every reason in the world not to have faith in we people, then something comes along and shakes my faith in my opinion of us. Every time. The problem is nobody gets to hear about the goodness because there’s money to be made selling stories about the badness. But the goodness is out there. It can always be heard when the other noise is turned off.
Those voice overs are harder than they seem. I particularly like the voice overs of Kenneth Mills. And soon, I think we might hear from good old James Ron!
Excellent, Sharron. Especially love, "Embers smoldered like the seething breath of dragons." Great imagery well-suited to a great story. "And they all lived together peacefully." Indeed--what an imagination you have!

Thanks for always commenting, Kate. I learn a lot about YOU through them, you know.
"Oh, we want lies!".... The eternal food for all humanity. Lies drive history.... and, almost always, our own lives. Well done, Sharron!!!!
You got that right, AT. Hard to tell lies from truth these days...
Lies just seem much more appealing and are easy to believe even when you know they are lies..
Thus fiction! ha ha ha I believe Jimmy Swann is alive. Don't you?
I believe Jimmy is alive. But I don't know fore sure. : )
I know where he lives. Keep the faith, baby... hah!
Live together peacefully, now that would be a novel concept and a lie I would like to believe .

As do I - have little faith in our species. Particularly these days.
WAIT!!!

Hi, That's very true. There is kindness and goodness out there, we just don't hear about it.
And in the days of yore humans could converse with animals. We listened and took a big bite of an apple . Then saw the truth with a forked tongue.
Hah! Write about this, Richard, and feature it on your Substack! You have a good start.
Your encouragement raises expectations. My energy is going to a novel in the sky that may be read or not. Time grows shorter.
More lies, please!
I am writing as fast as I can, Mark. Time's running out and I've got a lot of lies to tell. As do you, apparently.
The well is deep. 🤣
LOL, ain’t that the truth!
Human's have proven themselves to be a hopeless species. Is that why they had to invent gods? (Sorry, did I actually say that?)
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.
"... If I could turn the page In time, then I'd rearrange just a day or two..." I mean, who wouldn't? Thanks, Jim
I knew you would get it.
Hey! I am old, but still hip.
Sharron, what am I going to do with you? You made me smile in spite of myself. Thank you, friend.
Ah, well, just go with it, Colonel. Sometimes you just have to laugh, so you won't cry, right?
Absolutely. There’s a reason for such things as gallows humor.
I like Grandpa's story. Let's do THAT, okay? Great story, Sharron!
Okay, then!
I always enjoy listening to you read your stories, Sharron. Thank you!
Those voice overs are harder than they seem. I particularly like the voice overs of Kenneth Mills. And soon, I think we might hear from good old James Ron!
Oh gosh!
That's a whopper of a lie! Well done.
Thanks. Lies. My specialty. But just, you know, I call it fiction.
Excellent, Sharron. Especially love, "Embers smoldered like the seething breath of dragons." Great imagery well-suited to a great story. "And they all lived together peacefully." Indeed--what an imagination you have!
Yeah, so that last line was definitely a lie... Thanks CJ. I hope you are well this morning.
Heh, yes, this made me smile: "Oh, we want lies!"
