I couldn't even tell you how many times I missed a red-eye flight. urrrrgh. It is so good to be retired. Thanks for reading, Rebecca. Tomorrow would be a good day for a a long walk out in the spring air, don't you think? Step away from the computer, and no one will get hurt!
sigh ... waiting for the current storm to end and the dust to settle. I feel like these characters ... what can we do but wait it out and see what's left standing.
Well, there have been many "end times" throughout the history of this planet. It ain't over til it's over. That for me would be an asteroid hit that sends us all into space. HA! Maybe some of us will seed another rock.
Just remember, often what appears to be the end turns out to be a new beginning. Bring it on! Have a great day at the beach or wherever you may be, Sharron.
This was powerful, Sharron. I have had scenarios like this in my nightmares. In one, I felt a rush of heat, pain. And then it was dark, like a plug had been pulled from the sun. I shiver when I remember that dream. I will be here, with Ben, a soft bed, and just holding on. Maybe the light will come back on.
💚💚💚
Thanks, Jack.
We watch and wait.
Oh my.
Act when we can in ways unknown before, but tentative now.
How will we do? Learning is tougher sometimes than eating bark off an old tree.
And that old tree bark is pretty darned tough. Thanks, Jill.
Gotta chuckle at you.
So many possibilities of what that impending doom might be. Tidal wave, nuclear war, a mad President, disease, age, flesh-eating goats… Hmmm.
Oh great, now I have to add mutant goats to the list of impending catastrophes ... sigh

Or his greed.
Indeed.
Bruce is pretty smart.
Yup. I'm clinging...!
There's so much out there that's unpredictable - and, even more alarmingly, that's predictable. Ulp. x

Now that sounds like an excellent plan, Sharron!
I pray we are Raptured before that day comes!🙏
You just keep those prayers going, Kym! And while you are at it, say one just for me, please.
Will do! 🙏
Together is good. ...sounds like going home )))) I'm bringing my cat too.
Your cat, yes, and... umm... Dan, I assume?
haahaha silly.... the "together" AND ... implies the obvious OV COURSE DAn (plus cat)

Sigh ... we have had a good long run, Sue. Thankful for the great life we've had.

If death is coming, I hope it's taking a rowboat with a missing oar!
Hah! Yes.
Such a lonely prophecy😞 and what beautiful music to accompany it.
Thank you, Yael. So many of us are feeling it these days.

Thank you, KC. I have my ups and downs like everyone else, I guess.
I love how well your stories pair with your photo choices. Both this and “Howl” were made even more powerful as a result! Great pieces, Sharron!
Thank you, Justin. I have my 50-word story ready for tomorrow. Such fun!

The light coming back on is the GOOD dream. Hang on to it.
Glory be.
👍🏻
Whoa, I wonder what is coming.
Well, yeah. Don't we all! We better make the most of each day. ha ha ha
