Really? How do you know you are a true romantic? How is it manifested, Mr. O’Donnell?

.. a most devilish question Sharron ! It’s kissin cousin of altruism .. non ? Being urban feral & then rural farmlad just as i turned ‘teen was/is an unfair advantage as i skipped urban teen ‘Rites of Passage by a country mile - & was romanticized by horses & the farm life.. & ran with the deer ..

by early 20’s wuz runnin with the wolves for the Govinment of Canada paycheck hey ! I knows the UnRomantic & the Not Fair Sides of Life truly well.. but can navigate each .. Regardless - one ‘knows it - when it hits.. (‘romantic thought process haha ! (it’s all very Delicious.. All The Time !) .. or one does not (because they do not have a romantic bone in their entire body.. & likely NEVER WILL .. mebbe just horny all the time .. ‘wishful dickthinking eh

Ah, Wade, Wade, Wade! One could ask that same question of your own continuing romantic saga…. who of any of us knows what comes next?

OK, I'm hooked. Just got finished last night with the series YOU.

I hope this guy is not another Joe.

I could use a love story after that.

Aww, we can all use a little “happily ever after” sometimes. Right?

You did too when you wrote it, didn't you?

Sometimes, a little space provides the time to know what you've got, before it's gone. Looks like that worked here. Good 1, & 2, Sharron.

Whew! Finally, she commits. It would've been so easy to put the books back without talking. So easy. Sometimes getting over those little humps is like crossing the Rudicon.

She finally says what's really on her mind. Why is she afraid to let him know how much she cares for him? He's upfront about his feelings. Or is it, as my wife sometimes says, that the man is supposed to know what the woman is thinking without her saying a word. He's just supposed to know. You ended the story in the right place, Sharron. Let the reader speculate whether this couple reunites. I like these gritty little romances.

Thank you, KC. I, personally, do not care for neat, tidy endings. I see few in real life. Relationships are messy and volatile. I always love your comments, my friend.
