What do you say..... poor babe, or congratulations? He sure had an adventure for a while though. I hope he keeps the Harley. Velma had her fun and done, maybe stick around for breakfast.

And he can always re-decide. He is young!

He had his fun but it's time to embrace his inner Sheldon. Maybe he'll keep the hat.

Yes! Or, romantic that I am, maybe find someone else to embrace his inner Sheldon, hat and all. I wouldn't mind a ride on the back of his Harley.

You can run, but you cannot hide. Good one, Sharron!

That's what they say. Hide, maybe, but not for long. Thanks James Ron!

"Sheldon, come start a Substack. You'll fit right in." 🤣

Let's hear it, Shelley! What do you have to say for yourself?

We are who we are! It is so difficult to be someone else!

I think you may have to be of a "certain age" to realize that. Great thought, old man.

And why should you be? :D

LOVE this story, Sharron. Kudos! My only advice; maybe drop one comma so it reads : "Sheldon Bachmann from Indiana." I'm far from being a comma queen and I'm not being picky or a Gramma Cop (bc, yes, both ways are grammatically correct) but losing the comma after "Bachmann" seems to put a slightly different spin/read on it. IMHO FWiW Hugs!

I'll do it. Thanks

I loved this story!!! So very true, we take ourselves with us wherever we go. I say, Sheldon you've got it figured out - go do it.

ha ha ha! ThanksJanice

Sounds like he’s finally ready to accept himself. Lovely story, Sharron!

Well, I don't know. I would like to see our Sheldon at least be a part-time biker. Every guy needs to be bad sometimes, just to know he is alive.

Is it just me or does Sheldon look a lot like Danelo Cavalcante?! Be careful Sheldon there are some roads one travels, that you cannot return from.

Expand full comment

Eeuuww! Gee, I hope not. Sheldon is just a young man on the road to self discovery. Sometimes it takes a while. I think he is harmless, but who knows?

When one lives on the edge, they might fall over. . . Real life is tricky that way.

On the other hand, there is the old adage to consider: A ship is safe in the harbor, but that is not what ships are for. Ha ha ha. I am not sure exactly where my own choices fall, but now that I am old, certainly on the safe side. I had no fear when I was young.

Ah, Sheldon, nice try! Reinvention is fun - I've tried it so many times.

Turns out I'm still me. I'm owning THAT now, instead.

Another terrific tale, Sharron. Thank you!

Thank you, Rebecca. Please do not change a thing. We love you just as you are. As for me, I am re-inventing myself as a writer of fiction. I have embarrassed myself a few times, but I have not been arrested. Yet.

Awwwww! ♥️

And 'Yet' - LOL!!!! 🤣😉
