Oh, well, maybe one or two. It is not a guy thing, it's a human thing, and worsening in this cyber-age where no one knows how to hold a conversation face to face anymore.
It is funny, isn't it? And sometimes when you DO manage to get in a word, some people are so busy thinking of what they will say next, they hardly hear you! Conversation... a fading art, in this age of Twitter, etc.
Two fabulous fifties, Sharron! I remember them for the first time around, and it feels like such a gift to be offered them to read again today. Thank you!
Well, thank you, Mitchell. I am not particularly clever, but clichés are anathema to me! They sneak in every once in a while, and I am embarrassed...
How old do they have to be to get brains installed.... maybe its the installment method, piece at a time.
Ha ha ha ha ha!
Ghost writer.... miserable job. Any chance of taking personal script to publishers WITH the contract for the good already published one?
Hmmm. I don't know. Maybe so!
Guys can be so stupid.

Great use of ghost!
I hope you will check in over at Justin Demming's publication "Along the Hudson". He proposes these fun 50-word challenges twice a month. Here is an example of the variety of entries people submit. https://alongthehudson.substack.com/p/fifties-by-the-fire-red-fiat/comments
So true.
Thanks for dropping by to read at 🍁Leaves, Susan! Welcome to this little community!
So true, you meet many people who will happily go on and on about themselves and never ask you a question.
As for ghostwriter, it must take a certain personality type to do all the work and not share the limelight.

I gotta sympathize with the ghost writer....'cause I was one in another life....
It would be very hard for most any writer, I think.
I let her tell me all about her. Apparently, and with the wisdom of hindsight, it made absolutely no difference....
I am sure it COULD, though, AT! Keep trying!
The good news is....no one will Ghost you after reading these two nifty fifty posts. They are too good!
I'd love to hear your reply, but I'm too busy planning what I'm going to say next....just sayin'...
ha ha ha ha! I don't even know what it means to be "ghosted", but I don't think I would like it.
Nope.🤣🤣🤣

I am struggling to complete a longer story, so I brought out a couple of previous posts to buy some time. I am glad you remembered them!
The first one is so accurate! 🤣
I couldn’t imagine being a ghost writer. I want the credit! 🤣
Who wouldn't?!! I don't even want the money! Just the legacy. ha ha h a
I am with you there! If I didn’t have an audience, I wouldn’t write.
Can’t imagine being a ghost writer...no thank you! 😄
