Good. Otherwise, it would have been pointless. Hah! I hope you are doing well down there on the Culf of America, my friend. All is good here on the left coast. Just waiting for yet another shoe to drop.
You chose your words carefully, Sharron, so as to mislead without being misleading. It worked. How close by. How nice for that mother to have a son only a few blocks away. I live a thousand miles from my mother, but my sister's are closeby.
This little thing is a tiny tribute to my one dear son. I don't know how I deserved such a kind and caring one. Though I only ever called him one time in the middle of the night - when the water heater broke and was spewing water everywhere. He was here in five minutes to shut it off. And replaced it the next morning. I am so fortunate he has always lived here in Santa Cruz and is only five minutes away. I am a lucky woman, indeed.
Happy Valentine’s!
Thank you, 🩷 sweetheart.
Nice job on this one Sharron, I enjoyed that. - Jim
Thank you, Jim. Short and a bit twisty.
Good one!
Thank you, neighbor.
Masterful! What a fun surprise.
Thanks, Wade. Glad you didn't suspect the ending!
I'm hanging on a cliff you created. I've got a good hold. Wonder how long it will last??
You'd have to wait for a long time, Jill. I don't plan to come back to this one. ha ha ha
Soooo glad you replied. My fingers would have tired shortly!

You had me there, right up to the last word. Good one, Sharron.

I was going down the wrong path. Fooled me. But a bit ominous.
I am always happy to lead someone astray, George. Thanks for popping over to 🌿Leaves this morning. Welcome!
That's WHY he's always there. He will always be like that.... because of your close connection with your own Mom.
My own dear son calls me every morning without fail... to make sure I am still alive. It is a comfort. He's a good boy and I am lucky.
He's also big enough and strong enough to carry you out to his car and drive to the ER if required.
ha ha ha. I wish. I would need three emts to get me on a gurney.
VEry funny )))) You are a wisp. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Ha! Got me! Pretty sneaky. Good one, Sharron!
Hooray! I thought maybe you would have guessed the ending. Glad you didn't. Happy day to you, Ron!

A loving tribute, indeed.
He is not what I expected at the end.
Good. Nothing wrong with a little surprise at the end. Sort of like real life, where things aren't always as the seem. Thanks so much Kathleen!
Nice ending, Sharron!
Hah! Thanks so much Amie. Without that final word, the story would have been a pointless cliché, I think.
Oh wow, totally got me. Deftly done, Sharron! Wonderful.
