Oh I love this!! 😍 I try to stay off Substack so I can get organized in the rest of my life, but I just have to peek in occasionally! I love this man and his name 😅😂♥️😍
As a member of royalty, I find that Mr. Hubbubble’s preferences go beyond goofiness into the realm of the weird. Although, I agree that Lima Beans are one of the foulest member of the vegetable kingdom, exceeded in foulness only by Brussels Sprouts. Regardless, I do not imagine myself awarding him the medal of goofiness unless he has a very silly walk.
FWIW, while I did not pick the lima beans out of the succotash, I did eat around them. OTOH, I think I was nine at the time, and the succotash was in a TV dinner. I didn’t deal with succotash again until I was in the Navy, where Navy cooks had discovered this magical thing (called “seasoning,” if I remember correctly) that made it pretty good.
A good likeness to Mark's sense of humor, Sharron. I liked the taking seeds out of strawberrys and the last line the best. By the way, you are the queen of last lines. I've been reading Mark's clever works since we were both on Medium. He is one reason I gave Substack a try. He is truly one of a kind.

Karen, it is a pleasure to see your name here at Leaves again. Thanks for taking a quick peek at my story. Mr Hubbubble thanks you, too.
50 words all hub-bubbled! The silly guy lifts up our days, even if he is an imaginative guy, even more so.
As we imagine, we create so many images and he is not lie his picture. You've created a kind hobgoblin.
A high-maintenance guy, but lovable all the same. Thanks Jill!
High maintenance and such quirky tastes!
🙄🩷
I do love it too, and your new anti-AI badge! I need to create one of my own if I can figure out how. 🤣
Thanks, Kim. The little gold sticker is just an experiment... not sure why I feel compelled to make a statement, but anyway...
😆 Bless his heart.
I know, right? Be very glad you have the man you have. ( Is it Jeff?). He is definitely not Hubbubble.
No, Jeff isn't Mr. Hubbubble at all. He's all about exploring food of all (most?) kinds.
LOL! I like your "100% written by a human being" stories, Sharron.
Hah! For what it is worth!

Rats! I will keep working on it, though I sincerely doubt I will ever attain your level of silly. You have set the bar so high, Mark, dear.
We all have our gifts. 🤣
Mr. Hubbubble....what a guy. He's a real catch for somebody. Who might that be?
Yeah, I don't even like to think about that. Imagine picking out the lima beans for him? Euw.
HaHa 😂
👍🏻🤪
He'll be happyest if he is his own cook.... and lives alone.
Sounds right to me. I would smack him with a frying pan after one day...
Oh my goodness, you crack me up. Thanks for the chuckle.

TV dinner succotash. Euw.
I know, right?!
Haha! What a delightful read. Thanks for the chuckle, Sharron!
👍🏻🤪
This guy is happy, this guy is free😃
And a man who knows what he likes! Thanks, Yael.
hahahahaha!

Thanks so much KC. I am sure you will agree - one Mark Starlin is enough. ha ha ha
. . .peas with jam? I'll be back! Great one, Sharron!
Ha ha ha! Thank you, Ron!
