"gnawing another plastic tip off the miniature irrigation pipes in our garden."
Laughed out loud ))))) I dont' do that often, but I can see Raymond doing this with a combination delight and apology. Note to Dennis: there must have been a clog in that tip right???? of course. Thank Raymond for finding those. Better invest in a box of replacements.
Cat-a-walling paw-casting and I reel in the bait this early morning with now I believe half moon in sky.
Glad to have Raymond scratch a few lines. Missed his paw prints and happy to meet his character plays. Hope to get more interactions in the coming months as cool cats climb trees to sit above the maybe wet pavement.
I can almost see my old cat, Snigglefritz, in this report. He took off on me when he was two years old and is probably still cattin' around the local barns, keeping the mice under control and playing Dodge'em with the raptors and owls. So, I loved this. And how do you get two photos in line like that?
Thanks, Sue, for reading Ray's fifth pawed cast! To get two photos in line ( or up to nine photos in a block), click the ADD PHOTO icon and select from the drop down menu - ADD GALLERY. It automatically arranges your photos evenly.
Thank you. I really do need to explore the Substack menus more deeply. I do manage to mung things up, though. Perhaps I need a tutor. OY! Somehow, I've lost the capacity to size photos in the past few weeks. when I click on a photo to resize it, a border pops around it and holds it in place. I'll bit the ADD GALLERY feature though and see if I can pair a couple of "25/75" photos together.
Omg, Sharron! Those Feline Speed Dates are hilarious! And after a night like that, I can see how Raymond could go for a little belly rub session....he does look VERY relaxed. Just pawsome, Sharron!
You are welcome, Yael. I write these stories every once in a while. I know they are not for everyone, but I do seem to have a lot of cat people subscribed. Not sure how that happened. I , myself, do not live with a cat, but I know cats well enough to know what they get up to.
Creative and cute. My neighbor has problems with his three large dogs biting off the sprinkler heads in his backyard. The photos of the speed dating female cats look posed and fit the captions perfectly. The photos that accompany your stories and posts are always on target. How do you do it?
The pawed casts are very silly, but surprisingly popular. Cat-people -- they are out there. I don't even have a cat. As for the photos, I do spend a lot of time searching through Unsplash.com. And, I have to admit it, sometimes I change my stories to fit the photos I find. Thank you for reading my ( often goofy) stories, KC.
Oh, Penny! Thank you so much. Raymond is such a nut. He provides hours and hours of entertainment. If you will go to the little looking glass at the top of the page and type in "Raymond", you will find Ray going to college, inventing games, being a scaredy cat etc. All in good fun. I appreciate your comment more than I can say.

Good thinking. Don't fight it, just be prepared. You would like old Raymond. He'd like you, too.
Yes. Raymond and I must be related. 79 years of catfur in my food makes shared DNA right? ))
Yes, ma'am, I believe you have been blessed. Hah!

Thanks, Richard. Raymond will be back.
"I love the guy, but I can't trust him..."!
Yeah. Sort of like my ex- husband...
"Ex" being the operative prefix here...
Sharron, great idea of using other substacker's cats as guest stars. - Jim
Terry Freedman has allowed me to use a lot of his photos. Substackers are so generous, don't you think?
Absolutely.
Very entertaining! I love it and all the cat pictures. I miss my kitty so much!
The house seems a little empty without them, doesn't it? So much love to give and no place to put it.
Hey Raymond! Good to hear that all is well in Santa Cruz. Come back more often and...be nice to Dennis, he's only human.
Thanks Jim. Yes, I tolerate Dennis. But it is in my house-mate's agreement...I have to.
Awed by your paws.
And stunned by your puns.
Ha ha ha. Cute!

Raymond is having a hell of a good life. He lucked out getting adopted by Dennis and Mary.
He sure did! What a deal...and those tummy rubs!!
"Everybody Loves Raymond." "the Feline Speed Dating events on Saturday nights" is funny stuff, Sharron. More Raymond, please!
Thanks, Ron. Raymond will no doubt be back.
Raymond is one of my favorites. He is one busy guy - on the surface, but home is home and it sounds like that is on Dennis's lap.
Yes. He is a real love-junkie. Fortunately he gets a lot of it where he lives. As do your two furry friends.
Thank you for letting us have a peek on the world of Cats.

I would say “purrfect” but I feel like I am over my pun limit already this month. But I did love it. Go Raymond!
Thanks for reading about Ray, Mark!
Oh, this is hilarious and adorable! Raymond, you're such a character - thank you so much for this latest instalment!
(And it's lovely to have recognised 'Marcus'!) 🤣

Bravo for changing the stories to fit the photos. It’s the total package that counts.
I adore the tummy-rub picture.
And the entire series.
