Heart wrenching. Birds are part of our life blood. Of course all of nature is…

I believe there could be many different interpretations of this open-ended piece. Yours is absolutely appropriate, if you ask me.

Your poem goes right for the heart and tells the truth about today's world. Such is the irony of the EV revolution. The vehicle saves electricity while stripping lands of its minerals and vitality. What's more, the hunt for these minerals turns men into vipers, trading peace and life for dirt.

I love Joanie Mitchell's matured voice and this brilliant version of Both Sides Now. Thank you, Sharron.

I like your interpretation of this rather vague piece. I was hoping to see what it signified to various readers. I like the mature Mitchell as well. I believe this was recorded in the year 2000 when she was 57. She's still out there singing at age 82. You can find her on You Tube. Thanks for reading my stories ( etc) Sue.

Sharron, your stories and poems are the ones I go to last after reading all the "process" pieces, and the dismal stuff. Also, you've inspired me to try new writing styles and have inspired me to write about things I'd forgotten about or didn't think had merit. Thank YOU!

Today's world and tomorrow's future. Very sad, very true, but very well expressed in your prose poem, Sharron.

A heart wrenching (and in many ways, chilling) tale. I couldn’t help but think of the song “Manifest” by Andrew Bird. Similarly themed!

We think we understand how nature behaves, and move forward with arrogance, only to discover we had it all wrong and have wreaked havoc on an already perfect world.
